The labcycler has a unique system for quick block change. The block can be taken out with a simple handle and replaced by another one. All blocks have a processor which enables identification and data transfer to the labcycler. The temperature measuring circuitry is continuously self-calibrating by precise reference resistors. Its resolution, reproducibility and even its absolute precision is better than 0.02 °C. Because the temperatures are measured by the block itself, each block works identically in any machine.
