We’re passionate about bees at dnature. Drawing on our expertise in PCR and qPCR, we’ve spent years studying bees, their viruses and other pathogens, as well as the bacterium that causes American Foulbrood (AFB).

This research has allowed us to develop world‑leading bee health and honey diagnostics. Our tests can be used to check the health of bees, hives, and hive equipment, as well as detect AFB in honey. We also developed the Mānuka honey authenticity test and the world‑first swabbing method for American Foulbrood (AFB) – the Foster Method®
