HPLVD-100
Hop Latent Viroid (HLVd) is a small piece of RNA alone (no protein coat) and infects a number of different species, including hops and cannabis. Research at dnature has shown the viroid is prevalent within hop cultivars in NZ where its symptoms are mild. However, the viroid causes more serious issues in cannabis where the symptoms are referred to “dudding”.
Plants may or may not show these symptoms but result in smaller plants with lower cannabinoid levels.
We have developed a dual-target one step RT-qPCR, combined with a plant internal control for a one tube multiplex reaction. All the oligos are combined into a 20X Oligo mix and is complete with PCR-grade water and 1-step RT-qPCR mastermix
Channels: FAM / HEX / ROX
