Designed to detect lactic acid in wine, this qPCR kit will detect lactic acid to very low levels, including down to viable but non-culturable levels.
Use this rapid and highly-specific detection qPCR kit to quantify the amount of lactic acid bacteria in wine. Too much lactic acid in wine can cause a sour or tart taste but by understanding what is occurring in your wine means that changes can be made to the wine-making process to create a great wine.
Optimised to run on the Mic qPCR cycler but well suited to other qPCR instruments.
