LysoFAST, BOOST, DNA isolation reagents, 25ml

LysoFAST BOOST is a one tube flexible DNA extraction reagent, developed by dnature, to reduce precious sample losses.  It effectively binds and pulls down inhibitors to enhance target detection.  The released DNA is suitable for PCR and qPCR – up to 800bp in our hands.

LysoFAST BOOST protocol

Processed two very small scale insect pupae individually using 12 µl LysoFast. Incubated for 10 min, as specimens didn’t submerge, then crushed pupae with small glass rod. Quick spin, then used 5 µl undiluted template in 20 µl PCR. Worked really well! JM, Private Laboratory
